On more complicated maps, automated labeling can become a challenge as AutoMaT tries to draw labels that are otherwise competing for the same pixel space.
In most cases, adjusting the Scale control value can alleviate the problem. To do this from within your AutoMaT editor, click on Map Setting and adjust the Scale control drop-down value and re-render your map. Repeat until you get the results you like.
